raidehz asked:

I have found a seller on Yahoo! that has listed an item i’d like to buy. He/she also has over 3,000 other items up for sale on Yahoo! as well. My question is i’d like to search throughout his auctions/store front for other items he’s selling realted to my interests.

For example; say I found an old original Coca~Cola sign he was selling and wanted it and his other thousands & thousands of auctions/store items have listed anything & everything under the sun, *yet* I wanted to see if he had any more of these antique pop signs still available. How can I avoid scrolling through his entire list of auctions to locate what i’m looking for?

I have tried ‘Narrow Search Down By Seller’, but that doesn’t let me search specifics like ’signs’ with that seller. It just brings up every thing the seller is selling. I tried Yahoo’s Advance Search and that’s of no help for this question i’m asking.

Please tell me how I can search specific items from 1 specific seller?

Thanks so much!

It is not dated or signed; however, it is, without doubt, pre-1900s. It has a beautiful wood frame, painted white, with gold accents. The frame is also slightly damaged from storage and age. I can tell it has not ever been reframed. It is not bright in color at all. It is mostly a dull blue and green. It is not that detailed. It is also about 16″ tall X 26″ wide, approx. It has only 4 lilies up close and the background is all sky and pond in pale blue and grey. There are a few green shrubs and things in the left corner but very dull in color. Any ideas on what it may possibly be worth or where I might find info on something like this?

This book was extremely limited, published in 1938, and was signed by the author along with a personal message to the intended recipient. It’s hardcover, in pretty good condition with minor wear. It’s been in my family since the ’30s, but now it’s in my hands to sell. I have not been able to locate another one of this title for ANY information. There are no websites about this book (including Amazon.com, which I use them for everything.) I do not want to price this through the roof, but I don’t want to sell it for a ridiculously low price either. I do know it is rare, which adds to the value, and it’s signed by the author himself, which obviously is a giveaway to it’s monetary value, plus taking into consideration that there are literally no other copies of this book anywhere!

Any ideas??

BTW, I’m selling this on eBay, in fixed price format. This will not be in Auction style format like most other items on eBay. Thanks!!

Vintage Signs for Sale

Maria asked:

I become upset/depressed/overwhelmed/agitated when certain physical objects are not perfect. For example, I had a brand new microwave and my little cousin but tin foil in it and as a result there are black burn marks inside. When I clean it, the everything is perfectly clean and white, expect the burn marks. I then get frustrated and upset.

Another bigger example is as a result of a sexual assault I got ******* warts and had them treated…..I have a deformed outer *****….and it makes me physically sick to look at it. I remember how before my vaginal area was “perfect.” However, I know deep down that it does not matter becuase I am not sexually active and don’t plan to have *** until marriage. And my husband probably won’t be examing my ******** anyway and if he loves me he won’t care. Yet, I still get so depressed thinking about it.

I also had a beautiful antique table and accidentally left a wet rag on it. It removed the finish in a small circle and the table just isn’t the same to me. It is not perfect.

Also, I picked up 5 pamphlets from my counslers office on various topics. I was certain to make sure they were all kept like-new as I was reading them. Because they are all in a set, it would bother me if one was damaged and not the others. However, if an item, such as a book/pamphlet is not in a set, then I don’t mind if it gets minor damage such as bent corners. However, when it is in a set, it has to be perfect.

Also, when I see a row of pamphelts (for example, at the doctors office) I am compelled to grab all of them. It just feels “incomplete” if I don’t gather one. I think “what if there is some valuable information or product that I am missing” I always do this quickly because I am embarassed if the doctor sees me grabbing so many pamphlets.

I think I have “all or nothing” thinking when it comes to damaged objects. The microwave is worthless and so is the antique table because they are damaged. And logically I know that they still have a ltof worth and probably my guests won’t see the mark on the table bc I ccover it with a decorative object, yet it still bothers me.

PLEASE HELP. What is the name of my conditon? Is it OCD? How do I cure myself? I am sick of being depressed about my ********.
